OUR MINISTRIES
MEN MINISTRY
And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him (Gideon), and said unto him, the Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valor’. Judges 6:12
The life and calling of Gideon, demonstrate to us how God uses common people to do great task. Gideon was an ordinary farmer who tills the ground but was chosen by God, then transformed into a warrior, and subsequently helped to deliver Israel from the Midian.
This is a classic example of the testimony of the Men Fellowship of A.C.C. New Jersey. They are men whom God brought out from nothing to something, men, who flinch and the mention of the word church, but today, are soldiers of the cross, and are daily putting on the gospel armor, taking the battle to the kingdom of darkness and snatching the lost souls for Christ. The mission of A.C.C. men’s ministry is to provide men with resources that will help them develop godly character, and equip them in influence their world for Christ. Becoming a Christian is not a destination; it is the beginning of a life-long journey.
The purpose of the Men’s Fellowship is to create a strong bond of brotherhood and solidarity among the men of A.C.C. New Jersey, to enhance their spiritual growth by fellowship and communication with one another, to assist the men in understanding their position as men of God in the body of Christ, at home, on the job, and in the community.
Our goal is for all the men of A.C.C. New Jersey to come to the knowledge of the truth that no matter what circumstances you are facing, God views you as a MIGHTY MAN OF VALOR who is a promise keeper.
All adult male members of A.C.C. New Jersey, are automatically members of the Men’s Fellowship and all male visitors are cordially invited to participate in any Men’s Fellowship activities.
WOMEN MINISTRY
Our women’s ministry endeavors to create an atmosphere where women can realize spiritual maturity and fellowship, develop their leadership skills, and minister in the local church, their community and the world.
Dedicated women are making a significant difference in their world by their commitment to devote their time, talents and finances to promote the goals enunciated in the Women’s Ministry statement of purpose.
Women are encouraged to accept their responsibility as women of God who will offer themselves as living sacrifices, acceptable and pleasing to God; be devoted to one another in love, honoring one another above themselves; serve God and their church with zeal, keeping their spiritual fervor; joyfully hope; be patient in affliction and faithful in prayer; share with God’s people who are in need; and practice hospitality. The verses found in Romans 12:1, 10-13 are the foundations for these aspirations.
Women are also encouraged to be committed to teaching the younger women, as outlined in Titus 2:4.
Our mission is threefold:
To build intentional relationships by:
- Widening our circle of friendships among women within the church family
- Spending purposeful time with women outside the family of God
To strengthen women by:
- Spending time in the Word of God
- Entering the Word of God in our conversations when we are together
- Prioritizing time for worship and prayer
- Encouraging women to participate in a small group family
Serving God by using our giftedness for the benefits of others by:
- Adjusting our time to express care and meet needs of others
- Becoming equipped in the skills needed for ministry within the body
- Becoming equipped in the skills needed to reach the lost by multiplying leaders through a coaching/mentoring process.
YOUTH MINISTRY
This ministry focuses on the young people of our Church and community. We attempt to develop God fearing, Bible believing youths that know their purpose in life , while developing their God given talents and gifts to the glory to God.
The Youth ministry is usually from ages 12yrs to 30yrs, whose mission is to involve and engage with young people who attend their places of worship, or who live in their community. Our goal for youth ministry in the Agape Christian Center of NJ is to reach a place where young people are fully included, valued and engaged in the work of the church. Whether a church has one young person or fifty, each of them should be a respected part of the church community whose voice and offering matters.
We want our youth to embrace the idea that they are on a journey with Jesus guiding the way, and to be able to articulate what God is doing in their lives and how God can change the lives of others. We want them to recognize that their faith and discipleship offer them the opportunity for abundant life, and to make a lasting commitment to seek it.
We seek to create generations of adults who are living into their discipleship because of the power of the foundation that was built into the identities they formed as young people. We want them to know that no matter the circumstances, their faith will see them through the joys and sufferings of their lives, so that they will remember to turn to it in those moments.

CHILDREN 'S MINISTRY
WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY MORNING?
Our program is organized into different age groups. Each group is staffed with at least two volunteers. (We run background checks for all volunteers who work with kids and youth.) You can drop off your kids any time after 9:30AM on Sunday.
Our aim is to build God’s children for the future. We have a responsibility to lead children in the ways of the Lord. There is a great need for children to be taught valuable lessons that will help them sustain in life. We desire to instill values that will help them grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. We must impart godly wisdom even at a young age. As our world continues to change, we will challenge ourselves to maintain biblical standards and preserve traditional values. We will provide programs and activities that will teach them about honor, respect, and dignity which will help them with their self-worth of knowing who they are in Christ. We are dedicated to setting our children up for spiritual success and not spiritual duress. Join us as we build up our future.
First-time families will be asked to register their children through our secure children`s check-in, before dropping their children off in their age-appropriate groups.
