THE CHURCH

Agape Christian Center acknowledges the Lord’s universal church worldwide characterized by sound doctrine, Pentecostal worship, the five-fold ministry, loving relationships, Holy Spirit-inspired evangelism, anointed proclamation and practical expression of Christian faith.

THE SCRIPTURES

Agape Christian center accepts the full authority and plenary and verbal inspiration of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21). We hold it to be infallible and without error as originally given by God (Psalm 19:7-11). All the beliefs and practices of the church are to have their basis in Scripture that is held to be the sole and sufficient rule in matters of faith and doctrine (Isaiah 8:20).

 

BAPTISM

We believe that water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.

HOLY COMMUNION

Agape Christian Center acknowledges that the Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.

SALVATION

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.

HOLY TRINITY

We believe that there is only one true God, eternally existent in the Holy Trinity, The three-in-one God, thus God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS

We believe in the practical manifestations of all gifts of the Holy Spirit including the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

FUTURE EVENTS

We believe that the end of the world is coming, that in the last day Christ will descend from heaven, and raise the dead from the grave and that a separation will take place. The unbelievers will be given to everlasting punishment and the righteous to endless joy. This judgment will fix forever the final state of men in heaven and hell on the principles of God’s righteousness.
